TROUBADOUR 77 to Release New Album!

Album Release Party with Fans at O.P. Rockwell in Park City on Dec 1st

SALT LAKE CITY – Troubadour 77, a new band on the scene co-founded by Grammy award-winning songwriters and husband-wife duo Anna Wilson (piano/lead vocals) and Monty Powell (guitar/vocals), formerly of Nashville, will release their debut album Selma Avenue on Friday, December 1 with an exclusive pre-release at iTunes beginning November 11.  Together Wilson and Powell formed T77, as they are sometimes referred to, with fellow members Nathan Chappell (drums) and another pair of husband-wife musical collaborators, Austin Weyand (guitar) and Kassie Weyand (bass).

They are writing and performing new music in an effort to carry the torch of the 70s Laurel Canyon, Southern California sound that is reminiscent of the classic singer-songwriters that influenced and helped define their generation.  That metaphorical flame has been fully ignited on Selma Avenue and they will be celebrating the music at their album release party to a hometown crowd at OP Rockwell (268 Main Street, Park City, UT) on Friday, December 1st.  Tickets will be $10.00 and are available for pre-purchase at
